The Header Tank receives water from the bund and reduces the pressure on the filters to allow them to work on a gravity feed basis. Header tanks and filter systems can be designed for specific built to handle a range of volume and flow rates.

C.I.Agent Solutions Australia Pacific can provide a total prefabricated kit to reline existing bunds or new ones. Combined with our Hydrocarbon Flow Filters (HFF), soak-well filter, or header & filter tank systems we provide a complete solution to contain or remove hydrocarbons from bunds. Liners are made from hydrocarbon resistant materials.

C.I.AGENT® Barrier Boom Filter

C.I.Agent® Gabion Wall Barrier Boom is a proven Secondary Containment System designed to allow the unimpeded flow of water during normal rainfall events, but becomes an impervious barrier in the event of an oil release.

C.I.AGENT® Agent X Filter Media

A quick and cost effective solution for diversion when full secondary containment is not required. Agent-X is excellent for protecting hard surfaces, change out storage areas, machinery and for under mobile transformers to catch drips and drops. A great filtration fabric that encapsulates hydrocarbons and forces them to unsaturated areas of the fabric.

Agent-X can be used as a component of a total containment project.

C.I.AGENT® Drip Pad - Agent X

Agent-X can be used as a component of a total containment project. Agent-X is excellent for use under equipment, change out storage areas, and for under mobile transformers to catch drips and drops. Agent-X is used as the back outside wall of C.l.Agent® Barrier Booms.

C.I.AGENT® Hydrocarbon Flow Filters (HFF)

C.I.Agent® Hydrocarbon Flow Filter (HFF) is a device that removes hydrocarbons from water to a non-detectable level. The HFF is constructed from a non-woven geo-textile fabric in combination with C.I.Agent®, a proprietary blend of USDA food grade polymers. The C.I.Agent® Granules are capable of encapsulating and capturing all organic hydrocarbons (sheen, gasoline, diesel, and refined oils). The C.I.Agent® HFF allows water to flow through as it removes and captures hydrocarbons including most volatile organic compounds. Each C.I.Agent® HFF is designed for the site specific application.

C.I.AGENT® Agent Q Filter Fabric

 C.I.Agent® Agent-Q is two layers of a high-strength, lightweight hydrophilic spun bond nonwoven fabric with C.I.Agent Polymers embedded between the layers in a diamond pattern quilted together via ultrasonic bonding to encapsulate and solidify hydrocarbons on contact without absorbing water. The company’s flagship product, C.I.Agent®, is a proprietary blend of USDA food-grade polymers that are non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-carcinogenic, and nonhazardous. C.I.Agent is listed in the EPA National Contingency Plan Product Schedule* for oil cleanup, can be used on land or in fresh and salt water, and is very effective in extreme temperatures.

C.I.AGENT® Onion Tanks/Recovery Tanks

An onion tank is a collapsible flexible tank, which when filled, is self-erecting. We offer two types of onion tanks – open top onion tanks with floating foam filed collars, and roll top enclosed lid onion tanks. An onion tank is the perfect solution for a variety of temporary liquid storage requirements and can be manufactured from a variety of liquids to suit virtually any application.

C.I.AGENT® Self-Draining Portable Bund C/W Flow Filter

C.I. Agent Solutions Australia Pacific bunds are a portable or temporary bund that provides spill containment for drums, tanks, equipment, vehicles and machinery. Collapsible bunds can be easily and rapidly set up or packed up. Bunds are manufactured from a variety of heavy duty fabrics that are resistant to oils, fuels and a range of chemicals. C.I.AGENT® VGS Polishing Filter

These filters are a lower cost cartage style filter designed to work under gravity with a changeable pre-filter and main filter for removal of light hydrocarbons from water. These filters are ideal for draining bunds containing water with light hydrocarbon and as a polishing filter after a OWS where manual operation and monitoring is required. These filters are not guaranteed to completely shut off in the event of a failure.

These filters are designed to flow off gravity with up to 1 metre of head. Do not operate under pump pressure.

C.I.AGENT® Soakwell Shut-Off Filters

These high flow filters are designed incorporating layers of Agent Q, Agent X and a specific Geo-fabric that enables water to pass through t a rate of 120 litres per minute per panel, picking up small amounts of hydrocarbons such as sheen, however solidifying and shutting off if there is a major leak. A typical design could handle water volumes from 600 to 800 litres/min per unit. Combinations of filters can be used in series to achieve desired results.

C.I.AGENT® EVAC Filtration System

The C.I.Agent® EVAC filtration System uses state-of-the-art filtration technology to remove suspended solids and light sheen from water discharge operations in vaults, storage tanks, elevator shafts, bilges, tanks and more. It's unique four layer system absorbs hydrocarbons, removes large and fine sediment and polished the water. The EVAC Filtration System comes with a two inch male camlock quick connect fitting and is packaged in a UN certified liquid-tight container. The filtration bag is reusable.

C.I.AGENT® Drain Warden

The C.I.Agent Drain warden complete with our C.I.Agent® polymer filled pillow is an ideal solution to pick up surface sheen from accidental spills that may otherwise enter storm-water drains.

As the C.I.Agent® pillow floats and moves around in the drain warden, the oil and fuel are captured and separated from the water. C.I.Agent® pillows can be placed into the garbage for easy disposal unlike polypropylene sheets, pillows, and booms that must be disposed of as special waste.*

The pockets on the sides of the drain-warden will pick up silt and leaves that may enter. Simply raise the grate and lift the drain- warden out to clean and remove silt or leaves. Pillows can easily be removed and replaced if they become encapsulated with hydrocarbons.

C.I.AGENT® Hydro Carbon Test Strips

The Hydrocarbon Detection Strips can quickly and accurately determine the presence of hydrocarbons in water. When the Hydrocarbon Detection Strip is introduced into a potential hydrocarbon situation, the light blue strip will turn a darker blue if hydrocarbons are present. The color intensity and size of the darker blue areas are indicators of the quantity of hydrocarbons contained in the sample. If the sample contains no hydrocarbons, the strip will not moisten or discolor.

C.I.AGENT® Scupper Filter Kits

Scupper Filters are used in scupper drains on vessels to prevent hydrocarbon contaminated water (deck runoff) from entering the waters. C.I.Agent® Scupper Filters use C.I.Agent® Agent-Q (patent pending) as the filter media. This high-strength, lightweight hydrophobic spunbond, nonwoven fabric has C.I.Agent® Solidifying Polymers embedded between the layers. The layers are quilted together via ultrasonic bonding, allowing water to flow freely from the deck while capturing and preventing hydrocarbons from being released into the environment. In the event of a significant hydrocarbon release, the C.I.Agent® Scupper Filter will shut off all flow from the deck preventing an accidental hydrocarbon release. The pre-filter filters sediment, rust, scale, paint chips and debris. An outer protective sleeve prevents the Agent-Q from tearing when inserted in the scupper hole.
